Backrooms Walking Simulator

Controls:

• Movement - WASD
• Look - Mouse
• Jump - Spacebar
• Unlock Mouse - Escape Key

How to Play:

This is a Walking Simulator, so simply walk around and enjoy the experience! When you're done, you can press escape to unlock the mouse and exit the game.

Build Notes:

The Web Build requires Web2 features to run, specifically SharedArrayBuffer and Cross Origin Isolation. Itch.io currently does not have Cross Origin Headers, so this project must be run in a Chrome/Chromium-based Browser.

The MacOS build is buggy. There are small artifacts around the point lights in the game. This is due to an issue with the Godot 4 Beta Vulkan Renderer on MacOS. I will update it as soon as it's fixed. In the meantime, I built the MacOS version with the mobile renderer, which is more limited in lighting but stable.
